Artist Sarah Kelk captures the essence of T’Gallant

In March this year we unveiled a new range of fresh, approachable, food-friendly wines – the T’Gallant Range – featuring the stunning abstract paintings of Melbourne artist Sarah Kelk on the labels. The new range is available now in store and at our Cellar Door in Pinot Grigio, Rosé, Moscato, and the red blend Tempranillo Graciano Shiraz.

Originally from New Zealand’s South Island but now living in Melbourne, Sarah is the incredibly talented artist and founder behind design brand Hello Polly. Energised blocks of colour are central to her canvas artworks, upon which she experiments with subtleties in texture and pattern, combining deliberate shapes and accidental brushstrokes.

Sarah's approach is fluid and intuitive, often focusing on colour, its balance and its relationship within a painting.

Aside from being huge admirers of her work, we were keen to partner with Sarah as we felt that both she and her art beautifully embody what T’Gallant is all about: being fresh and vibrant, but also free spirited with the confidence to tread a new path – just as our founders were when they championed Pinot Grigio winemaking in Australia in the 1990s.

Which is why we commissioned Sarah to create four artworks that bring the essence of T’Gallant to life, to adorn the labels of our four new T’Gallant wines. And we’re so thrilled with how they turned out – and we must admit the wines inside are pretty gorgeous too…
